Hi. I am currently about to be going into eighth grade. I am fascinated with business opportunities and large companies. I would like to start my own company. I’m not looking to make cashier or mow the lawn money, but I’m looking to make a real adult six figure income.
My company idea is to create a company that builds and/or buys cheap and underperforming websites, fixes the sites up by marketing the site a lot, adding content, changing the seo configurations, etc. to bring in more revenue, and sells the site after a half year for 10 times it made in that time (3-5 times yearly revenue). I have lots of experience of building up websites and marketing them well, so I feel this could be a great company to start. Also, what type of company would I be? I know that if I was buying sites instead of building sites, I would be considered a private equity firm, but if I both buy and build, fix than sell, what type of company am I considered?
Do you think this is a good idea? I know it already exists (website flipping), and I know the big guys are making millions a year from this.

First thing you need to learn about business is to not throw your ideas around like yesterday’s dirty underwear.
I think this is a great idea and it’s something I’ve been working on.
Let’s see who gets it up and running first.
So far I’m negotiating w/ about 8 site owners on buying them out.
My goal is to ultimately sell 2 of them w/in a month of buying. The other 6 I feel have huge potential.
It is a good idea and like you mentioned, it is already being done. If you are passionate about it, you can make it work for you too.
yeah good idea
