Generate Residual Income
I have been looking into different courses and schools that offer creative skills that can allow me to work from home or in the work force and generate residual income. I am an artistic person and would like something that utilizes my creativity as well as my great people skills. I want to do something that I can enjoy, unlike the majority of the jobs I have had in the past; I can enjoy aspects of them but I never really felt excited about what I am doing.
I have looked into hairdressing but it is 12 months of full time commitment to the course, that will cost over $12,000 (CAD), which my husband and I can’t afford right now. Ideally I would need to be working part-time or more to support our living expenses. I have also looked into taking a seamstress course correspondence so I can still work, but I’m not sure if it will be very profitable after the course is completed.
My ultimate goal is that one day when we have children, I will have a skill that I can generate residual income with, but work from home so I can still be with my children before they start school. Anybody who can provide me with some of their experience and advice on a course or school that can be done part time or on the side would be extremely appreciated.

I hope this helps…look into a medical coding, the classes usually take between 6-8 months and cost around $2,500. I know it sounds like a lot but this is a great investment in your future. Some companies will give you flexible schedule and the pay is good and since its in the health care field this is a career that’s growing.
